Submission Requirements
Hey everyone! Submissions close Friday, August 21. Here’s exactly what you need in before the deadline.
Every submission must include:
-
Live demo link — your project must be deployed on the cloud and publicly accessible. Local-only projects (localhost, “clone and run it yourself”) will not be evaluated. Free tiers are fine: Vercel, Netlify, Render, Railway, Hugging Face Spaces, Streamlit Community Cloud, Fly.io.
-
Public GitHub repository — must be public. Private repos will not be reviewed, and we will not be accepting collaborator invites. Include full commit history do not squash everything into one commit or upload a zip. We check commit history to verify the work was built during the hackathon window.
-
One-pager — a single PDF covering the problem, your solution, tech stack, and what’s next.
API keys: you are responsible for your own. Judges and organizers will not be providing additional keys, credits, or accounts for any service other than Featherless AI. Plan around free tiers.
Since your repo must be public, do not commit your API keys. Use environment variables and a .gitignore’d .env file. Leaked keys get scraped within minutes.
All three requirements are mandatory. Submissions missing any of them will be disqualified, as will any submission that violates the hackathon rules.
If deployment is worrying you, start now it’s the piece teams consistently underestimate. Make sure you’re thoroughly following the handbook: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vS5ShO3btCCy95zjzDfez9LNEMEERHQS/view?usp=drivesdk
Questions go in the discussion channel. Best of luck to everyone excited to see what you’ve built.
