Submission Requirements

Hey everyone! Submissions close Friday, August 21. Here’s exactly what you need in before the deadline.

Every submission must include:

  1. Live demo link — your project must be deployed on the cloud and publicly accessible. Local-only projects (localhost, “clone and run it yourself”) will not be evaluated. Free tiers are fine: Vercel, Netlify, Render, Railway, Hugging Face Spaces, Streamlit Community Cloud, Fly.io.

  2. Public GitHub repository — must be public. Private repos will not be reviewed, and we will not be accepting collaborator invites. Include full commit history do not squash everything into one commit or upload a zip. We…

Read this before you submit: the one pager is not a paragraph, and videos won't be watched

Every submission needs three things on Devpost: a live demo link, a public GitHub repo with a README, and a one pager. That third one is the piece most teams underestimate.

Example one pager → https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ndBuPs2hGgJD6e0fBQA3XHjL94dFM2GH/view?usp=sharing

That's a demo for a fictional team, not a template. Notice what it does in one page: names one specific person it was built for, names the one barrier being removed, shows how it works in three steps, and is honest about what's fully built vs. mocked plus disclosures.

Why it matters: judges read your one pager first, before they open your demo…

Eligibility Clarifications

Getting a lot of questions about this if you're a first-year college student and 19 or younger, you're eligible to compete in the Suvidha AI Virtual Hackathon 2026.

The 13–19 age range is what matters, not whether you're in high school. Freshmen who fit that window are in.

Registration is still open and free. Submissions close August 22.

The prompt is live handbook and your next steps!

Hi everyone,

Thanks to those who attended the opening ceremony. The build window is officially open and closes Friday, August 21 at 11:59 PM Pacific.

THE PROMPT
Build something that makes learning accessible to someone who is currently locked out of it.

That's the whole thing. It's the intersection that matters, not education in general, not accessibility in general. Name the person you built for, and show what changed for them. A working prototype that removes one narrow barrier beats an ambitious demo that removes nothing.

RESOURCES
Participant handbook

The handbook is the source of truth for rules, the rubric,…
